I really liked the &#039;I am PC&#039; ads too. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Nobody can beat Apple creatively, but i also believe Creativity is overrated. I also didn&#039;t think Microsoft thought of gaining new customers from this ad, for them right now it is about retaining those 85% or 90% of the PC users who are slowly moving from Windows to Mac or Linux.</description>

		<description>Your explanation obvious makes the ad seem like perfect sense to me, but according to me - people sitting in front of the TV waiting for normal scheduled programming to resume won&#039;t go so deep into this ad to realize the hidden meanings behind each of Gates&#039; and Seinfeld&#039;s actions. Yes its sort of witty and makes very good points but as an advertisement, as a minute of footage to sell a product, it just doesn&#039;t work for me. When it comes down to it Apple&#039;s ads have a much larger impact. Sure there products aren&#039;t perfect, sure they&#039;re overpriced etc. but when it comes down to the quality of their creative promotional material - most of the time they leave MS in the dust. Apple began to sell millions of iPods partly because of its ads. Microsoft won&#039;t gain new customers from this ad, imho. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;(Howver, I feel MS&#039;s new I&#039;m a PC ads are good comebacks to Apple&#039;s derogatory I&#039;m a Mac ads)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Just my thoughts :) This post was a good read.</description>

		<description>Pretty interesting take on the ad!  The biggest challenge of humor ads is making them funny.  I thought that was accomplished.  Whether this stuff works, I don&#039;t know.  Either way,  it will be a fun study in marketing, advertising, and positioning.</description>
